HERE WE ARE: SLIM 2022!

SLIM 2022 – Shelf Life international Meeting has begun!
It’s the first time held in Latin America.

The meeting is hosted in Bogotà (Colombia) by the Institute of Food Science and Technology (ICTA) and the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Universi-dad Nacional de Colombia (Bogotá), in collaboration with the Italian Scientific Group of Food Packa-ging (GSICA) and Universidad de La Salle.

The most significant industrial experiences and new scientific studies will be proposed in five thematic sessions:

• Session 1: New Technologies for Shelf Life Extension
• Session 2: New Materials for Shelf Life Extension
• Session 3: Shelf Life Assessment and Prediction
• Session 4: Sustainability and Shelf Life
• Session 5: Packaging Materials and Safety Issues

SLIM 2022 is supporting by Journal Food Packaging and Shelf Life (Elsevier) (Impact Factor 6.429, ranking 10th out of 144 in Food Science & Technology).

The best abstracts submitted, chosen by the Peer Reviewers and based on quality factors, scientific merit, innovation, practical application and homogeneity with conference topics, will be published in journal’s special issue about SLIM 2022.
